The 100 Day Transformation Initiative, a program that aims to bring neighborhood cleanup and blight reduction efforts to several North Baton Rouge communities, has expanded. The next phase will focus on designated streets throughout the Banks, Fairchild, Avenues, Alsen and Cunard/Gore neighborhoods, addressing longstanding concerns related to illegal dumping, overgrown properties, accumulated debris and neighborhood maintenance. Mayor-President Sid Edwards and his wife, Mary Kenney, are coordinating resources and engaging residents throughout the transformation process. Community open houses will be held at two locations within District 2 to prepare residents for the cleanup efforts.
