The crash occurred around 5 p.m. on Interstate 10. The Mississippi Highway Patrol reported that a 2015 Harley-Davidson operated by Roy Dale Holden Jr. and a 16-year-old passenger were traveling east on I10 when the passenger fell from the moving motorcycle. Amanda Holden was also traveling in the same direction on a 2009 motorcycle. She and two other motorcycles took evasive actions to avoid hitting the passenger and crashed. Four people were transported to a hospital from the crash scene. The investigation into the accident is ongoing.

HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (BRPROUD) – A Denham Springs woman was killed in a motorcycle crash on Sunday, May 26.
The crash took place around 5 p.m. on Interstate 10 in Harrison County. Amanda Holden, 43, died from her injuries at the scene according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
They said, “a 2015 Harley-Davidson operated by 39-year-old Roy Dale Holden Jr. of Denham Springs, La., and a 16-year-old passenger were traveling east on Interstate 10 when the passenger fell from the moving motorcycle.”
Roy Holden’s wife, Amanda Holden was traveling in the same direction on a 2009 Harley-Davidson.
Mississippi Highway Patrol said she and “two other motorcycles took evasive actions to avoid hitting the passenger and crashed.”
Four people were transported to a hospital from the crash scene. Two were taken in an ambulance and two were airlifted, Mississippi Highway Patrol said.
The investigation into what caused the deadly crash remains ongoing.
