Meet LSU Athletics PA Announcer Jacques Pourciau
The electric environment of LSU’s athletic venues is something special enough to keep you coming back, and for LSU Athletics PA Announcer Jacques Pourciau, the Pete Maravich Assembly Center has a special place in his heart—even after 30+ years Jacques Pourciau, the LSU Athletics PA Announcer, has been with the school for 30+ years and grew up an LSU fan. He is currently heading into his sixth season as the announcer for the LSU Women’s Basketball team, alongside Head Coach Kim Mulkey, who is also taking her sixth lap with the Tigers. Pourciaou has seen stars like Angel Reese and Flau’Jae Johnson rise to the top of the game and finds joy in being a part of the student-athlete journey. While there are many new faces on the court for the Tigers this season, Pourciaus remains a familiar voice behind the mic.
