The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries is responsible for managing and protecting Louisiana’s abundant natural resources. The department issues hunting, fishing, and trapping licenses, as well as boat titles and registrations. The Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Commission will meet on April 9 at 3:00 PM at the Louisiana Department of Wildlife & Fisheries headquarters in Baton Rouge. The commission will also consider public comment on the Notice of Intent for Rule Changes Establishing Season Dates and Rules and Regulations for the 2024-2026 Hunting Seasons.
