Ethel woman killed, 1 injured in West Baton Rouge Parish crash
On December 28, a head-on crash in West Baton Rouge Parish resulted in the death of Tyesha Banford, 34, and serious injuries to the driver of the GMC Terrain, with impairment suspected to be a contributing factor. The Louisiana State Police (LSP) is investigating a head-on crash in West Baton Rouge Parish that left a woman, Tyesha Banford, 34, dead and injured. The crash occurred around 6:30 p.m. on LA 1, just north of LA 989-2, also known as Main Street. The driver of the other vehicle was also not wearing a seat belt and sustained serious injuries. Police believe impairment may be a contributing factor in the crash.
