Baton Rouge police arrest man accused of deadly shooting
An arrest was made in connection to a May shooting that left one person dead. Dilson Ramirez, 32, has been arrested in connection to a May shooting that left one person dead. The Baton Rouge Police Department said Ramirez was arrested after a May 26 shooting left Leonel Valey-Morales, 27, dead. Police said Valey was shot and killed in the 300 block of Riverlon Avenue after multiple shots were reported. Ramirez was taken into custody on June 11.

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — An arrest was made in connection to a May shooting that left one person dead.
The Baton Rouge Police Department said Dilson Ramirez, 32, was arrested after a May 26 shooting left Leonel Valey-Morales, 27, dead.
Police said Valey-Morales was shot and killed around 3:03 a.m. in the 300 block of Riverlon Avenue after officers got calls reporting multiple shots fired. A second victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Ramirez was taken into custody on Tuesday, June 11.
