BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A Baton Rouge man who was accused of raping three women and killing another faces life in prison.

Bryan Leduff, 36, was accused of being connected to the murder of Jemina Williams during a shooting on North Street in March 2015. Detectives said Williams sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

District Judge Gail Horne Ray sentenced Leduff to life in prison without the possibility of parole, which is the mandatory sentencing for adults convicted of second-degree murder in Louisiana.

Leduff was also accused of raping three women in October 2016, according to authorities. He faced charges of three counts of first-degree rape, two counts of armed robbery, two counts of aggravated battery, two counts of false imprisonment and sexual battery.

Leduff is set to appear in front of a 19th Judicial District Court Judge on Thursday, June 13 for a hearing.
