A 100-day transformation initiative designed to bring neighborhood cleanup, beautification and blight reduction efforts to several North Baton Rouge communities has been expanded. The 100 Day Transformation Initiative, which aims to address illegal dumping, overgrown properties, and accumulated debris in several North Baton Rouge communities, has expanded. The next phase will focus on designated streets throughout the Banks, Fairchild, Avenues, Alsen and Cunard/Gore neighborhoods, addressing longstanding concerns related to illegal dumping and overgrown property. The initiative was launched in May and is being managed by Mayor-President Sid Edwards and Kenney, who are coordinating resources and engaging residents throughout the transformation process. Community open houses will be held at two locations within District 2 to prepare residents for the cleanup efforts.
