St. Vincent de Paul offering hot meals on Easter

On Easter Sunday, the St. Vincent de Paul Easter will serve a sit-down meal from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 220 St. Vincent de Paul Place. Volunteers from the St. Vincent de Paul are preparing to serve hot meals on Easter Sunday, starting at 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., a tradition that has become an annual tradition. Children in need will receive Easter baskets once they have finished their meal. Adults will also receive a gift of food or basic essentials. In 2023, volunteers served a record 310,000 meals for those in need.

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Volunteers with the St. Vincent de Paul are preparing to serve a meal that has become an annual tradition.

On Easter Sunday, the St. Vincent de Paul Easter will serve a sit-down meal from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 220 St. Vincent de Paul Place.

Easter baskets will be given to children in need once they finish their meal. Adults will receive a gift of food or other basic essentials.

In 2023, volunteers served a record 310,000 meals to those in need.
