FMOL Health unveils new mobile mammography unit
FMOL Health has unveiled a new mobile mammography unit featuring 3-D technology to bring breast cancer screenings to various Louisiana communities. FMOL Health is launching a new mobile mammography unit during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The unit will be stationed in the FMOL Health | Our Lady of the Lake service area, visiting locations such as Baton Rouge, Baker, Central, Denham Springs, Plaquemine, Assumption, Donaldsonville, and the Northshore. The new unit will use state-of-the-art 3-D technology to provide more accurate testing. The launch is part of FMOL's strategy to ensure care reaches beyond its walls and into communities that need it most.
