Here are the latest south Louisiana business honors. Michelle Hardy and Yolanda Dixon have been awarded the 2024 Leadership Baton Rouge Alumni Association Community Leadership Award. The award is given to individuals who have succeeded in their chosen field and have participated in community activities in Baton Rouge. Hardy, a member of the Class of 2018, is the director of public affairs and community relations for Turner Industries and serves on boards and key committees of organizations such as the Capital Area United Way, Associated Builders and Contractors, and the Rotary Club of Baton Rouge, among others. Dixon is secretary of the state Senate and has received honors from the Junior League, the National Conference of State Legislatures and Girl Scouts Louisiana-East.
