The article suggests that states with higher educational attainment have lower crime rates than the national average, and that the likelihood of a criminal act decreases with the number of years of education. The education and training of our workforce is a crucial factor in determining individual worker's success and the economy's overall performance. As part of efforts to reduce crime, consider providing all children with a proper education. Many children are born into families in crisis, often resulting in child abuse and neglect.

The likelihood of a person to commit a criminal act decreases with the number of years of education.

The education and training of our workforce is a major factor in determining the individual worker's success and how well the economy will perform as a whole.

This is the undisputed reality, so as we seek to revamp our criminal justice system to reduce crime, would it not be prudent to provide all of our children with a proper education?

The fact is many children, through no fault of their own, are born into families in crisis, i.e. addictive behavior, poverty, violence and substance abuse, which often results in child abuse and neglect.
